In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to download database table data in excel file using Yii excel export extenstion. it's an easy tips to add this feature into your Yii project. This is the Live project code and 100% secure & working that we used for our Custo Web Application. for using this feature, First of all we have to download excel extenstion from the given link.<br />

If you face the following problem while running this extension: - <br />
<b>Undefined variable Build;</b><br />
Then open extension file named ExportXLS and define variable in function.<br />
<br />
Now open view page where you want to show Download Excel Button then add following code written below.<br />

Open your controller page and paste the following code and change accordinglly. In this code we are importing Yii extenstion page. calling model function for getting value from database. In this code we are calling model function using its object and getting value from database communication.<br />

Now here we are going to make its model for fetching value from database fields. In this example we have taken an example m_retailer table name. That is fetching values from various fields named like: -<br />

These values will make an array and return response to controllers function. After that automatically you will see one file for downloadable. from there you can save this file into your desktop or directly open it.<br />

After a long time, we came back with new tutorial for beginner. In this tutorial we are going to make one HTML form and will submit data using serialize method in PHP and JQuery. First of all we should know little difference between Ajax and JQuery. Because it will be easy to understand about the languages those we are going to use.<br />
<br />
<b>Ajax: - </b>Ajax is used to load data into page background without refreshing the current page or whole page. Example: - Facebook tabs.<br />
<b>JQuery: -</b> JQuery helps to Ajax to show data in useful format way. Using Ajax and JQuery simultaneously, we request for text, Html data, JSON response from the server using PHP Methods.<br />
<br />
For using JQuery, we need to add JQuery in our PHP page.<br />
<b>Example: -</b><br />

Using this Ajax method Ajax data will be POST to given PHP page (php_pageurl.php) file. Here we can get form value and can store it into database. echo syntax will send your given response to Ajax response. this is the easiest method for storing data into database.<br />
